Main Info
Join us for a special pilgrimage to Iona, Scotland, as an additional segment paired with a Sacred Ireland pilgrimage, or as a “stand-alone” pilgrimage!
Travel with Celtic Way Pilgrimages to the beautiful, historical and sacred places of the holy island of Iona! Learn the Celtic Christian practices of the ancient saints and how these practices are applicable to our modern lives today. Discover a strong spiritual and peaceful connection with the past that opens up new and full depths for our present.
Our outward pilgrimage will take us form the city of Glascow to the island of Iona and back again. We will participate in two days of led prayer walks on the island as well as join in morning and evening prayers at the historical Iona Abbey! In Glasgow we will participate in a led walking tour overview of Glasgow, and we’ll also enjoy a wonderful Scottish ‘Welcome Dinner’ and ‘Farewell Dinner’ in this energetic city!
Our inward journey will be enhanced by spacious times spent with Celtic liturgy and led meditative sits and services. Our journey will include historical and spiritual guidance by experts and in-country guides. A custom Culture Honey Touring journal and a copy of A Celtic Liturgy by Pat Robson are included in the cost of the tour. The rhythm of our perigrinatio will include intentional times for personal reflection.
Costs are based on double-occupancy accommodations. Celtic Way Pilgrimages will do our best to accommodate the request, but there may be additional fees associated with reserving a private room at any point in our journey.
